FAQ

Why should I book an eye examination?

An eye examination or eye test doesn’t simply test your sight; it can also help to identify other health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

When should I book an eye test?

Eye problems can occur at any stage in life. That’s why we recommend you take an eye test at least every two years, no matter how old you are.

What should I expect?

You’ll sit down with one of our fully qualified optometrists to discuss the reasons behind your visit. From there we will check your sight, conduct a comprehensive eye health examination and then discuss whether or not you need glasses as well as any other recommendations.

How often do I need to come back?

Based on your individual results, we can advise how often you should attend.

What will it cost?

A private comprehensive eye test is currently £42. All of our practices provide NHS services so you may be entitled to a free NHS eye test. Find out more here.
